During the Course
Module I – Understanding Quality First part of this course introduces you to all key concepts and practical aspects surrounding the notion of quality of legal services. This knowledge will allow you to assess your quality and later define quality metrics and standards. You will learn how to perceive and grade your quality and what to include in your assessment, depending on the type of services you provide and your target audience. You will also see what your clients look for when determining service quality.
Module II – Quality Standards Second module of this course walks you through the process of creating quality standards for your legal services. This versatile module looks at different client interactions and models them to various quality levels showing you the value of adjusting quality levels. You will learn to recognise quality boundaries, in particular the excess quality point after which your effort will not lead to any improvements for the client. You will know exactly how to plan outcome quality and where to put your efforts to receive the best result.
Model III – Quality Management Third module introduces tools and processes necessary for a quality management system. It includes a complete framework allowing you to ensure high quality is maintained, as well as an implementation guide for your firm or team. You will discover how to manage quality effectively and how to adopt quality assurance and quality control mechanisms within your firm. This way your new set quality standards will be maintained consistently throughout your team or organisation.
