Our 1:1 Sessions were created to allow the most demanding of our clients to combine tailored knowledge with commitment and execution to ensure fastest possible professional growth.

1:1 SESSIONS are powerful, individual meetings with one of our specialists.They offer a look both 'inside' and 'outside' your professional identity, with the scope of work always approved by you before we commence.

Inside

On the inside we explore career paths, motivations, decision making processes and whatever it is that stays in way of your professional success and happiness. Here we work on aspects such as finding your professional passion, developing the right mindset for the job, deep working habits, procrastination and many others.

Outisde

On the outside our focus typically encompasses effectiveness (doing the right things) and efficiency (doing things right). The work usually involves finding the best way to achieve your goals and applying the correct actions to reach them. This is the place for case studies, simulations and systematic review of your progress.

1:1 SESSIONS are offered both as single appointments or bundle contracts, depending on your needs.

Executive Coaching

Over the last 20 years executive coaching has proved to be one of the most effective tools of professional development for executives and higher management. MOQQ’s system builds on traditional coaching principles by increasing coaches engagement and the level of challenge for the client to better simulate high pressure circumstances lawyers are typically faced with in their work environment.

Our approach builds upon the FACTS coaching method as developed in Challenging Coaching by John Blakey and Ian Day. We believe it to be the best methodology for creating fulfilled leaders who contribute to their firms and to society through their profession.

How does it work? You should expect challenging sessions and hard, honest work. Each session is designed to reach roots of your concerns or challenges, explore them, question and work on new approaches and insights.

Mentoring

Through experience, client work and ongoing effort to expand our knowledge we gained access to the best techniques and tools in many areas of concern for lawyers. So instead of letting you reinvent the wheel we will happily provide you with the right tools for growth, work together to tailor them to the situation at hand and review the implementation.

Mentoring entails more focused engagement, providing concepts and solutions with a little more directive approach. It is ideal for younger lawyers or in all instances where the work is focused on gaining new skills.

Mentoring will also mean working on your professional goals and aspirations. We are firm believers in unlimited human potential and our mission is to show you yours. There is nothing as fulfilling as realising one’s true capabilities and start using them to the fullest. We want to help create truly great lawyers that change the world.

Finally, mentoring is an excellent tool of building employee satisfaction, motivation and boosting retention. That is why when working with partners, we tend to motivate them to use mentoring in their daily work.

Simulations

New knowledge is best remembered and understood when experienced through practical experiences and applications. That’s why safe yet highly interactive, challenging simulations are incorporated into our 1:1 sessions. They’re designed to help you understand the new skills or concepts, embody them and assess whether they address the session’s subject appropriately.

Their form can vary, from exercising with the coach, solving a simulated problem or testing new skills with another trainer from MOQQ staff. Our usual approach is to prepare a simulation after the session and conduct it at a specific agreed time.

Simulations may be repeated if necessary, until the new skills or concepts are working appropriately. Simulations bring tremendous benefits, allowing you to familiarise yourself with new knowledge and test it before deploying it into the real world.

Like a sandbox, they also allow for troubleshooting, fine-tuning and extensive feedback.

Assesments

Whenever needed, our work is supplemented by competence or psychological assessments. We use both external tools produced based on leading methodo-logies (Caliper, DiSC, MBTI, Clifton or others) and our own 360 review of the client. The choice of any specific tool is based upon particular development needs of the client.

Assessments are an excellent discovery tool helping to uncover person’s strengths and shortcomings. As such, they are usually advised to those of our clients who are not acutely aware of their strengths and areas for development or have jus been assigned to new positions within a law firm or organisation, which requires a new skillset.

In those cases analysis based on proven methodologies leads to deeper discovery and more clarity as to what areas should be the focus of future work. Assessment results remain private and are not shared by us with the contracting entity.
